# Your Companion App to Newcastle’s PowerSwap Nucleus® Lithium Power System #
Nu-View Battery Monitoring System by Newcastle enables easy tracking of your PowerSwap Nucleus® battery packs through Mobile Device App on mobile devices or your computer web browser.
Display real-time & historical data in easy-to-read graphs including state of health, state of charge, cycle count, tempera¬ture, faults/warnings & more. Data can also be exported as .CSV file.
Other capabilities of Nu-View:
- Send email message alerts when certain events occur (e.g. over-temperature, low SoC, etc.)
- Identify next available battery in the charge bank
- Take an Asset Snapshot for visibility of all batteries on a single report
In addition to viewing battery data, this app is also used to setup and connect the Newcastle PowerDock Stations. The Provision page of the app is an easy-to-use interface to provide the PowerDock with your network credentials. The PowerDock will then disconnect from the mobile device and transmit battery health information on its own using the assigned network.
The PowerDock is unable to navigate through a captive portal which requires user input. In this case, consult your IT department to have the PowerDock’s MAC address added to the network whitelist and bypass the captive portal.
